How We Got Here, Fam

Between February 5, 2023, and March 24, 2024, around 200 Nouns were individually inscribed by about 100 early adopters. On March 24, 2024, the community rallied and, within two days, inscribed nearly all remaining Ethereum-based Nouns—up to Noun 1078—as Bitcoin Ordinals, completing the initial batch by March 26, 2024.

The "First Inscription" simply means the earliest inscription. For the Bitcoin Nouns collection, the First Inscription is inscription 3901, WTF, that's early.
